WHY PARENTS CHOOSE GIA HUY

Not just childcare — a place where your child grows every day

Serving families since 2011

More than fifteen years caring for and educating children in the same neighbourhood — long enough that many families have sent more than one child through Gia Huy's classrooms.

Ages 12 months to 5 years

Each age group has its own programme, built around that stage of development, from the toddler group through to the pre-school year before Grade 1.

English every day

Children meet English every day through songs, games and conversation — not a single lesson tucked into the week.

24/7 camera on Zalo

Watch your child's class on your own Zalo, so you know what they're eating, sleeping through or playing without having to call and ask.

Learning through experience

Children learn by playing, handling real materials and following small projects of their own — not sitting and listening for the whole session.

A devoted team

Teachers and staff stay beside your child with patience, warmth and responsibility every day, not only when parents are visiting.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME

What a child learns in one project

We deliver the national preschool curriculum across five developmental domains, organised by topic and extended by four elements specific to Gia Huy. Each one states what the child experiences and how you can see the result.

Five developmental domains

Every activity at Gia Huy is built around the five domains of child development, so your child grows in a well-rounded way rather than in just one direction.

PhysicalLanguageCognitiveSocial-emotionalAesthetic

Project-based learning, discovered through experience

Activities are organised as projects, drawing on the Reggio Emilia spirit and extended with STEAM and AR. One small question from a child can grow into a whole journey of discovery with their teacher.

01

English every day

Every day children have an English activity built on songs, movement and language games, with a foreign teacher on the weekly rota. At this age the aim is familiarity with sounds and a listening-and-speaking reflex, not grammar.

Your child receives: at the end of each month, a short clip of your child using English with the teacher.
02

STEAM through experience

Children learn by handling real materials: planting seeds, measuring, building, simple experiments with water and light. Teachers ask open questions so children predict, try and see the outcome for themselves. Every topic ends with one piece of work the child made.

Parents receive: the work your child brings home, labelled with their name and the date.
03

AR in the classroom

AR technology brings lessons to life, letting children explore things that are hard to observe in real life — an animal's life cycle, the world of the planets, or what's inside a tree. With the teacher guiding them, children observe, explore, retell and create from what they've seen, making each lesson easier to understand, easier to remember, and more fun.

Our commitment: Every activity published in the programme is guaranteed; if equipment breaks down, we repair it and arrange a make-up session for your child.
04

The Reggio Emilia spirit

We are applying it step by step in how classrooms and learning environments are set up: children choose their activity corner, their materials and their own approach in open activities. Teachers observe, take notes and adjust the activity to the children's genuine interests.

In assessment: each child is assessed on their own progress across the year, not against classmates.

“Parents are not only choosing a modern learning environment for their child — they are giving them the chance to learn through curiosity, experience and joy.”

ENGLISH EVERY DAY

Letting your child meet English naturally

Beyond the daily lesson, English is woven naturally into familiar everyday activities — songs, games, movement and conversation with the teacher. Step by step, children grow familiar with the language, build a listening-and-understanding reflex, and gain the confidence to use simple English phrases in daily life.

The goal isn't to cram in more English — it's for your child to genuinely enjoy using it.

What parents hope for
  • Confident listening and a quick response
  • Real enjoyment of English, not fear or avoidance
  • Vocabulary that grows steadily with age
  • The nerve to speak up, even before it's perfect
  • An early habit of using English

24/7 CAMERA ON ZALO

Watch your child's class on Zalo, with no extra app to install

The camera runs 24/7. On your child's first day we grant live access through your own Zalo account: each account opens only your child's class, with no unfamiliar app to install and no images of the children shared elsewhere. Alongside the camera, three information principles we hold ourselves to:

A fall, a fever, a poor appetite - the teacher records it and tells you the same day, without waiting to be asked.
An all-inclusive fee set out on one sheet; any separate charge is announced in writing beforehand.
When we get it wrong , we acknowledge it first, then explain, then state how it is being handled.

WHAT PARENTS SAY

From parents whose children are here

Honest words from parents walking this journey with Gia Huy every day.

“This was the first time our family discovered and chose Gia Huy. At first we looked into quite a few schools, since sending our children to school is something parents care about deeply. After learning more and visiting in person, we felt the environment here suited our children, so we decided to enrol both of them. Enrolling two children at once felt like a fairly big decision, but seeing them go to school happily, loved and carefully looked after by their teachers, put our minds at ease. We hope our two children will build many happy memories during their years at Gia Huy.”

Nguyễn Quang Phụng · Parent of Nguyễn Minh Khôi & Nguyễn Minh Khánh

“Our family has two children at Gia Huy. Some time ago, the two siblings studied here together for a while. Our older child has since graduated, and our younger one is still here today. While both children were here together, we got to watch them grow up, play and go through their daily routine at school. Once our older child graduated, our younger one stayed on at Gia Huy, which made the moment feel quite special for us. From a family with two children in school together, it's now just our younger one continuing the journey here. For us, Gia Huy has become part of both our children's childhood years.”

Phan Văn Lâu · Parent of Phan Bảo Ngọc

“Our family has been with Gia Huy for quite a long time. It hasn't been just one child — one after another, several children in our family have studied here. Each child started at a different time, and there were stretches when more than one was here at once. Every time another child in the family reached school age, we chose Gia Huy again. Looking back now, it makes us happy that our children have spent part of their childhood at this school. For our family, Gia Huy isn't just a place our children once attended — it's part of the journey of growing up for several children in our family.”

FREQUENTLY ASKED

What parents usually ask us

How much are the fees and what do they cover?+
The all-inclusive fee is 3,800,000 VND a month, with meals at 35,000 VND a day, the same across every class group. It covers full-day care and education, three meals, the daily English activity, STEAM activities and learning materials. Separate items such as uniform, field trips, care outside school hours and insurance are always announced in writing before they're collected.
What are the drop-off and pick-up times?+
The school day runs from 6:45 to 17:30. If your working hours fall outside that window, register with the class teacher in advance so we can assign a teacher on duty and an extra snack. Anyone not on your registered pick-up list must be confirmed by you first; we never release a child to a stranger.
From what age do you take children?+
We take children from 12 months to 5 years, in a toddler group and kindergarten classes. For children under 18 months a teacher is assigned to them for the first two weeks while they settle into the routine, and you get a daily note on meals, sleep and mood.
Our child cries at drop-off. What do you do?+
This is a normal part of settling in. For the first two weeks a teacher is assigned to your child, they may bring a familiar object from home, and the time you stay in class is shortened day by day. We never use fear-based methods and never force a child to eat. Each afternoon you get a specific account of your child's day.
Can a child with no English keep up?+
Yes. At preschool age the English activity runs on songs, movement and games; the aim is familiarity with sounds and a listening-and-speaking reflex, not grammar or writing. New children usually need a few weeks, with a teacher supporting them individually.
How are meals prepared and monitored?+
Children have three meals a day from a menu built for each age group. The weekly menu is published with a real photo of the tray each day. Food samples are kept and logged as required. Tell the class teacher about allergies or special diets at enrolment so we can record it and adjust portions.
Does AR mean too much screen time?+
At Gia Huy, AR is visual teaching material inside a teacher-led activity, not time spent watching. We do not call video time a STEAM activity. If you want to see one, book a visit on a day it runs.
How do you keep children safe?+
Children are signed in and out through a fixed procedure, never from memory. The camera runs 24/7. Any bruise or bump is written in the log and reported the same day. Teachers train regularly in safety and first aid.
How will we hear about our child's development?+
The camera 24/7, Zalo messages with the class teacher, a development record across the five domains, and each month one concrete piece of evidence: a STEAM project, a clip of your child speaking English, or their own work. At the end of each stage the class teacher meets you one to one about your child.
Can we visit before enrolling?+
Call or message us on Zalo to arrange a time. We invite you to see an ordinary day in class, not one staged for visitors. You can pick the part you want to see: the morning lesson, lunch, or the afternoon activities.

Come and see an ordinary day at school

Pick the part of the day you want to see and we will find a slot this week. We do not put on a demonstration lesson for visitors.
